Baby Weight Checks Fact:  Babies breastfeed until they’re full, not until they “empty” your breast.  On average, babies remove 67% of the milk you have available – this amount can vary widely among Moms. At Mother Nurture we offer FREE baby weight checks on our Baby Weigh Scale.  Our baby weigh scale measures your baby’s weight to the gram.  Mother’s may do pre and post feeding weights to determine the amount of milk transferred by the baby during a feeding.    Before weighing your baby, you must sign our waiver.  Baby's weight must be recorded in our weight tracker book.  Weight limit for the scale is 24 lbs. Waiver Statement: Our baby weight checks are intended as a service for our clients, to help mothers monitor their baby's growth.  They are NOT meant to substitute for a doctor's care or advice.  If you have questions or concerns about your baby's growth or development, please consult with your physician or schedule an appointment with one of our lactation consultants.  With your permission, we will fax your baby's weight chart to your baby's physician. Note:  All scales are different.  Baby’s experiencing weight gain problems should be weighed on the same scale to accurately determine weight gain.
